PASS ON THE LEGACY SWORD:

FOUNDATIONAL TRUTHS:

THE SWORD:

When knights would enter a town that was about to be destroyed by an invading army, the knight would call together all the men of that village, young and old, and cast the vision of knighthood and then ceremonially dub them as knights. Upon being knighted these men fought differently. No longer running away, they fought with great courage and valor, a courage and valor beyond themselves because they were living up to the high and noble calling that they had just received to serve - by giving their lives for others.

To call or inaugurate a son into the fuller guild of biblical manhood, from boys to men, we have a special engraved sword that marks the occasion and creates a memorable milestone to forever remind the young man of his call to Lead, Provide, Protect with Love that engenders Respect.  This treasured gift calls this future or existing husband and/or father to continue the guild and raise up sons of greatness for generations to come with the help of a community of like minded men.

This symbolic reminder of our noble calling can be passed on to sons for generations as they embrace that calling to live for Christ by dying to self and serving for His holy purposes in his power, expressed through humility with benevolent actions toward others.

If you would like a Legacy Ceremony conducted and/or an engraved ceremonial Leaders Legacy Sword, for use at a MANCAMP, start a Legacy Chapter or just have questions, please contact us.

God has a four generational view of family. Ps 78:1-8

The Hebrew word for "Son" literally means the "builder of the family name" thus communicating a generational aspect or positive legacy passed on for generations to come.

"And he will turn back the hearts of fathers, (as originally intended), to their sons and the hearts of the sons back to (receive God's purposes from) their fathers, ..." Malachi 4:6

The fathers are the primary leaders in their families receiving their title and duties after God Himself. Eph 5:13, 23

The fathers are the primary teachers of the family in the home. Dt 6:4-7, Eph 6:4

The primary context of teaching is the reality of Christ in the marriage relationship displayed in the home and demonstrated by the husbands love and care for his bride. Eph 5, 5:31

The primary means of teaching is a close and personal relationship between Father and Son where the son apprentices under his father. Jn 5:19

The fathers are CALLED OUT, to be CALLED TOGETHER for a special purpose WITHIN the faith community.  They are to band together and share their lives as a guild in raising especially godly sons each with the aid of their help-meet bride who respects his calling. Eph. 6:4

Sons are to be raised from boys to biblical men that leave their one father and one mother and cleave to and lead their one wife for life in building marriage and raising children according to God's word and purposes. Gen 2:24, Mal 2:15

CASTING A VISION:

OUR GOAL is to cast a vision of greatness to encourage fathers and sons of all ages and generations, men and men in the making, to gather together in growing local supportive networks that equip us to connect with one another in the guild of biblical manhood to organically raise up the next generation of godly leaders that they will raise up the same for generations to come.
