Visitors must obtain a free permit (limit 100/day) from the interpretive/visitor center before hiking into the gorge.  We're gonna try to get a Group permit for Saturday so we're getting up early! On busy days, permits may run out early in the morning. Groups must get passes as a group.  Be at the Interpretive Center on Saturday at 7:45AM sharp. Visitors must wear proper footwear to obtain a permit, no flip-flops or crocs, and participate in a safety orientation. Permits will not be issued after 4 p.m.
